Rustic Chic Wedding at The Springs Event Venue

Want to know something crazy? Just minutes before leaving our house to head to Amanda and Ronnie’s wedding, a huge storm blew through the area! And when I say huge, I mean winds that were strong enough to knock over a crane in downtown Dallas, trees splitting in half, rain and hail like I had never seen before. But you’ve probably heard the old saying that rain on your wedding day means good luck. Well, that saying couldn’t have been truer for this gorgeous, rustic chic wedding at The Springs Mckinney! As we made our way to the venue, the skies cleared, a cool breeze came through (a real Texas summer miracle), and the rest of the day went on just perfectly!

I have just loved getting to know Amanda and Ronnie through their wedding planning process. From their engagement session at the Dallas Arboretum to Amanda’s enchanted forest bridal session, these two are the kindest and most genuine couple. Trust me, when you look through the photos and see how Ronnie adores and smiles at his new bride, you can see just how in love they are.

What is so special about their love story is that they are both teachers and met while working together at Barbara Bush Middle School. The finally went on their first date a year after meeting and then one thing leads to another, and now they are married! Their wedding day was truly something special to be a part of. They wanted to keep things traditional and not see each other before the ceremony. However, they still wanted to share a special moment together beforehand, so they exchanged letters and prayed together around the corner of a wall (cue the tears).

I am pretty sure we also got to witness the most adorable flower girl and ring bearer entrance to the ceremony! They ran the entire way down the aisle and you could totally tell they were having the time of their lives (scroll through to see those photos)! After seeing that, I think every bride should start sprinting down the aisle to her groom. It would really make for some fun!

To the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Gallant: Thank you SO much for having us be a part of so many special moments with you. The genuine love you have for one another and the love your friends and family share for you is really something special. Through watching your wedding party pray over you during the ceremony and hearing countless stories of friendships during the toasts, we know the two of you have are ready to conquer anything together. Now enjoy married life!
