Oh, how I adore this sweet couple. When Chelsea and I first got together for her pre-wedding consultation, we instantly felt like we became great friends. It was like catching up with an old friend over coffee and that’s my favorite way to meet new brides. Their wedding day was just the same! Chelsea and Jonathan got married in the chapel at Watermark Church and it was beautiful. Watermark Church holds a special place in our heart because when Halton and I first started dating we attended The Porch and then when we got engaged, we did their pre-marital class called Merge. So being back to photograph this wedding at Watermark was so special.
Chelsea and Jonathan were all about keeping the Lord at the center of everything and not worrying about getting caught up in the details. A super special moment for me was when we had a few extra minutes in between photos so Chelsea and her bridesmaids joined the church evening service worship time for just a few songs. This moment really put things in perspective for me and reminded me what a wedding day is truly about. This was a moment I would not forget. The rest of the day had so many more of these special moments.
Chelsea and Jonathan didn’t want to do a first look, but instead chose to pray around a corner together before the ceremony. What a sweet time they had together! Through the ceremony and into the reception, each moment was filled with such sweet joy. They ended the night running through bubbles through their family and friends and jumping into an old classic Rolls Royce to finish off a sweet day. We are so happy for this sweet couple and excited to see how God uses them in their marriage.
