Outdoor Wedding at the White Sparrow Barn

A lot of people tend to avoid outdoor weddings in Texas during the summer, but we’re so glad that Natalie and Matt didn’t shy away from it. This outdoor wedding at the White Sparrow Barn was beyond beautiful! The White Sparrow Barn has the perfect setting for a magical outdoor wedding. It’s completely shaded by gorgeous tall trees and will keep you and your guests cool in the summer. Such a fabulous location for a Texas wedding in June!

Natalie and Matt met in middle school and were close friends all through middle school and high school. But it wasn’t until they were adults that they decided to pursue a relationship. We LOVE when good friends become a perfect couple!

Those years of friendship and love showed in everything their special day. Natalie and Matt had a sweet and sentimental first look before they went into their gorgeous outdoor ceremony.

The earthy tones that the Owens chose for their wedding made this outdoor wedding so whimsical and cozy. It was such a blast to photograph (and video!) their wedding. And, of course, Natalie’s dress went along beautifully with the whimsical feeling of the ceremony!

We loved the cute and unique details that Natalie and Matt included in their reception. They had a set up for their guests to take a Polaroid photo and attach it in their guestbook. We love this unique idea because it’s something so fun to look back on later! They even had a beautiful hand-painted cake instead of one decorated with fresh flowers, it was so unique and special!

The newly married Owens danced the night away and did the classic bouquet toss and garter toss. They wrapped up the night with a private last dance and were sent off by their friends and family with sparklers and cheers!
