Jacob and Brianna’s wedding day at One Preston Events was so family-centered and just so sweet to watch these two families come together. Not to mention, they used some of our very favorite colors for their wedding palette! These two met back in high school with a common love for sports. Jacob was on the baseball team and Brianna was the athletic trainer for the team, so it was only a matter of time before the two of them would find common interests to connect the both of them. All it took was a long car ride to get to know each other and ever since then they have always just been together.
When it came time to propose Jacob had it all planned out and when Brianna wasn’t looking during a family photoshoot, he got down on one knee and popped the question. It was an easy yes from Brianna and from there the wedding planning began. If their day could be summed up in two words it would be family and easy going. The two paired perfectly together and it really was a day that was more about the people there than anything else.
I just love it when it’s not all about the details. Yes, they are important, but when you remember that this day is the start to your forever, everything else becomes a little smaller. The color of napkins, the layout of the dance floor…yes they are decisions to make, but it’s all the decisions after the wedding day that you make that are so important.
