This is a day we have been waiting for! Two of our good friends are finally engaged and it was the sweetest of celebrations to capture! If you would have told us a year ago that we would be at Winfrey Point in Dallas, photographing Justus proposing to Kaitlyn, we would have thought you were crazy, but we know God’s plans and timing is greater than ours. And how thankful we are for that truth!

When Justus first reached out to us in October about proposing to Kaitlyn we were absolutely over the moon excited. These two had been friends since middle school, and as seasons changed and years passed, God opened their hearts to one another just this summer. What a sweet season it has been to watch their relationship grow. We truly have seen the goodness of God displayed through them both and we know it will continue to be the same as the move towards marriage. 

Justus planned out the sweetest day for Kaitlyn that eventually led to the proposal. He took her to places that had significance to the two of them through their friendship. They finally ended up at Winfrey Point in Dallas which overlooks White Rock Lake where he got down on one knee and she said “yes”! Shortly after, they were joined by their friends and family who were watching from afar to congratulate them. It’s always a sweet day when you get to watch two friends commit to spending the rest of their lives together!
