You guys! Hannah’s bridal session was such a dream. When she contacted us about photographing her small, rooftop Dallas wedding that was just three months away, we were ecstatic! As we were planning for her bridal session, we talked through many location ideas. But Hannah knew she wanted somewhere that had meaning, so she gave it lots of thought. When she decided on doing her bridal session at Southern Methodist University in Dallas because that is where she went to college, I knew it was going to be the perfect place!
Her sophisticated and timeless wedding gown from White Gown Workroom was absolutely perfect for her laid back and fun personality. I just loved her off-the-shoulder sleeves with the little touch of lace. And the snake skin print shoes she chose really topped off the whole look! Plus, she even made her own bouquet, which turned out stunning! Seriously, our brides can do it all- and they do!
One of my favorite things about Hannah’s bridal session was that she brought along a newspaper to take a few photos with, because her soon-to-be hubby reads the same newspaper section every single weekend, and it just so happens to be pink! She was absolutely adorable with it!! And a newspaper might be my new favorite prop!
With all of the fun that we had at Hannah’s bridal session, it made me that much more excited for her wedding day! We have the best brides, and we seriously love our job!
Bridal sessions have easily become one of our favorite sessions because it gives you a chance before the wedding day to have fun together and wear your wedding dress an extra time. We didn’t realize until recently that bridal portraits are mainly a southern tradition. We always assumed it was a staple thing everyone did. It is definitely a tradition we are proud to carry out. Be sure to checkout some of our other bridal sessions too!
