Sometimes simple is what is needed. You are able to take away all of the fluff and really concentrate on what matters. Pauline and Brad’s Denton courthouse wedding was intimate, exciting, and full of love. Their closest family and friends were there to celebrate them and it was truly a day about what matters most. After saying “I do” we headed over to Barley and Board in The Square for a simple reception. It was full of laughter, sharing memories with one another, and simply celebrating the future of the newlyweds.
When I asked about their proposal story Pauline put it this way: “Brad and I went on a camping trip to Big Bend with some close friends of ours. On our last day there we decided to drive around to all the overlooks to cover some scenery we missed (the park is humongous!). Of course, we had to take some pictures or “it didn’t happen”. After we wrapped up Brad asked our friend to take a few more (very weird and out of character for him to want to take more pictures, heads up*). I was posing, waiting, and getting annoyed that he was taking so long to do whatever he was doing so we could go to the next overlook…when I turned around to see what the heck was going on, he was down on one knee!!! We both pretty much cried and blacked out after that. Fun fact: maid of honor came on this trip specifically because she thought he may propose, and was in the bathroom and missed it.”
