Winter Wedding at The Springs Mckinney | Kelsey & Charles

What a sweet day celebrating Kelsey and Charles! Their December winter wedding at The Springs Mckinney Stone Hall venue had the most perfect weather and was truly something special. We photographed their engagement session almost exactly a year ago, so we were greatly looking forward to this day. With 2020 being a year different than anyone expected, it was amazing to see how flexible and calm they both were through the whole wedding planning process.

Kelsey and Charles both met while they were attending Baylor and after some time of dating, Charles decided it was time to pop the question! He asked Kelsey to marry him in front of all their friends and family at a tailgate before the Baylor homecoming game, which is where their first date was. It was an easy yes and now they’re officially husband and wife!

We first met Kelsey and Charles when Kelsey was actually a bridesmaid in another wedding we were photographing. Soon after that, she reached out to us about photographing her own wedding and we were ecstatic!

Advice for brides planning their own wedding?

“Rely on your girls to help you! Wedding planning is stressful enough, so don’t make it any harder by trying to do it all yourself. Especially look to any of your married friends for advice and tips. They’ve planned a wedding before so they are an awesome resource. Also, don’t get married during a pandemic. Lol”

What have you enjoyed most about working with us as your wedding photographers?

“You guys have been so helpful beyond just photography! From vendor recommendations to general wedding planning advice to creating an entire day-of timeline, you guys are so much more than I could have imagined! I know future brides would not regret working with y’all!”
